A survival server that feels like a warm room.
Elyria started as three friends and one cherry tree. It grew into a small world of lantern-lit paths, player-built towns and a spawn square where people actually stop to talk.
There is no race to the end here. Claim a plot, open a shop, adopt a cat — or just sit by the fountain and watch the petals fall.

Open Minecraft
Java 1.21.4 or Bedrock 1.21 — both work. No mods required, no launcher to install.

/rules, grab a starter kit at spawn, claim a plot with/claimand say hi in chat — or grab the client for the full experience.

Do I have to be in a couple to join?
Not at all. “Date SMP” is a vibe, not a requirement. Plenty of members join solo, bring a friend, or find a build partner in #looking-for-group. Date night pairs you up if you come alone.
Do I need the Elyria client?
No. Everything — spawn, shops, events, claims — works in vanilla. The client just adds shaders, a minimap and a one-click join button for people who like a prettier view.
Java or Bedrock?
Both, on the same world. Java players use play.elyriasmp.net. Bedrock players (console, mobile, Windows) use the same address with port 19132.
Is it pay-to-win?
Never. Ranks are cosmetic — a name colour, a pet, a hat. No kits, no loot boxes, no “donate to fly”. The economy is run by players, for players.
Can I protect my builds?
Yes. /claim protects your plot and chests, and staff restore griefed builds from hourly backups. Just don't build inside someone else's fence.
Is there a whitelist or application?
No application — join whenever. We do have active moderators and a short /rules quiz at spawn, so the community stays kind.
